A sequel and a response to "InTolerance". It is a personal reaction to the global pandemic and its wide-reaching effects through suffering, fear, misinformation as much as confinement and curfews. Staged and chance activities. Meticulous constructions. Static scenes. Abandoned sites. Interrupted signals. Severed connections. Energy transmitted, translated, received. Locations were revisited retrospectively, introspectively, their whereabouts unimportant.

Composed from the development of Double Deck during the residency at Atelier Expérimental, Clans, France. A mechanism for playing two cassettes was reversed, adapted, prepared and then activated by collected sounds of water in the village.

While at Arc Artist Residency in Switzerland in March 2016 Whetham was joined by Francisco Meirino and Gregory Büttner and they made improvised sessions in the unique setting of the medieval building, subsequently dividing the recordings of the sessions, using them as material to craft the pieces that form "The Arc Sessions".
